Cookie policy
In short: we do not track you. We do count how often a page is viewed, but that happens without a cookie and without keeping your IP address — more about that in the privacy policy. There are no analytics or advertising cookies on this site, and that is why we do not ask you to click anything away.
What we do use
| Cart | What you put in your cart is kept in your own browser's storage
(localStorage), so that your cart does not empty when you close the page.
This data stays on your device and is not sent to us as long as you do not order
anything. You clear it by clearing your browser data. |

| Payment | As soon as you check out, the payment provider places its own cookies, which are needed to handle the payment securely. Without those cookies you cannot pay. |
| Signing in | If you request a sign-in link, we set one short cookie of ten minutes
(mh_wacht) that ties the link to your browser. If you sign in, a thirty-day
cookie is added (mh_sessie). Both are HttpOnly: JavaScript on
the page cannot reach them. They are only there if you ask for a link yourself, and they
disappear when you sign out. |
| Our own visitor counter | On every page your browser tells our own server which page you are viewing and which site
you came from (only the name of that site). Nothing is stored on your device: no cookie, no
localStorage. On the server, your IP address and browser are immediately turned
into a code that can no longer be traced back the next day, and they are not stored. If your
browser has «Do Not Track» switched on, we do not count you. |
What we do not use
- No Google Analytics or statistics from any other party.
- No advertising pixels from social networks.
- No profiles, no retargeting, no reselling of data.
Because there are no cookies that need your consent, there is no consent dialog on this site either.
One thing you should know
The fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. In doing so, Google receives your device's IP address. No cookie is placed, but it is a connection to an external party — which is why we mention it here.
